
Inventory Ownership
The assurance and reporting components of the CA&R Service rely heavily on the quality of the inventory of client services.
With better quality inventory, the budgetary outcomes, internal charge-back processes and billing verification will improve significantly, thus reducing the risk of cost overruns and supplier disputes.

At initial review, the inventory of services, licenses, projects and products held in the client space may require specific work effort to bring it up to accounting standards - i.e. where it can be relied upon as a true representation of the client's telecommunications environment. Telecoms Clarity will work with a new client to ensure the setup of their inventory is as accurate as possible, taking feeds of information from multiple internal systems and groups to develop a clean and usable inventory.
On a monthly basis, under the CA&R Service, the inventory is managed with input from the client, integrating moves, adds and changes ensuring it is sanitised and as accurate as possible. Once merged with monthly billing, exceptions are managed into inventory or disputed back to suppliers.
